Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year- from our family to yours!!!

This year I am feeling very positive about the changes I am going to make. I really hope I can say that later this week:) Every year I try to make resolutions and most of the time I really try to keep them. Here are some for this year:)
*Live on a budget; maybe my husband helped me with this one
*Exercise more; run 2 marathons
*Read my scriptures DAILY!!
*Spend more one-on-one time with my girls
*Live in the moment; don't live for the next BIG thing
***WISH ME LUCK cuz I'm gonna need it***

Happy Holidays!!

Halle had her Christmas Program for Preschool:) She did such a good job. She was incredibly nervous to sit on HIS lap, but after watching EVERY SINGLE PERSON in her class go, she decided it wouldn't be THAT scary. He was the BEST Santa I have ever seen:)

Cute family photo!!

Every year our family goes to the Festival of Trees. The girlies enjoyed their time at the Kids Corner making crafts (or just buying them). Haisley was freaked out by the clown making the balloons. **What am I raising, a bunch of scaredy cats?**

It's always crazy busy there, but I love looking at all the trees. Some people have awesome creativity. I want some of it!!

Last year we learned from experience that it is better to hit the Kids Corner first so that your child doesn't cry the whole time because she wants a wand. Here they are first thing:)

continued!!

The girls absolutely loved playing out in the snow and making a "snowman"

They got a brilliant idea that it shouldn't be a "snowman" at our house- they wanted a "snowgirl." So I had to go inside and make a cute bow for her:)

We enjoyed some family time at the Hoen Cabin for a few days.

All the sister-in-laws made skirts for the little girls- they turned out SO cute!!

The fam. @ the reception.

Haisley was actually cooperating for the camera this day:)

We are so HaPpY that Kirk was able to find Julianne. She is such an amazing woman and we are excited for her to be in the family!! It was an awesome ceremony and wonderful reception. Thanks Kirk for FINALLY getting married!!

DISNEYLAND!!!

We were able to go to Disneyland in October (I know this is really late)!! The girls had a blast eating lunch with the PRINCESSES:)

She is so cute!! Haisley was patiently waiting while we took turns riding the rides.

Meeting the characters was a highlight!!

Halle enjoyed riding the rides. She had a blast with her cousin, Christian who was able to join us one day:)

More PRINCESSES!!

Disneyland was so fun!! I am not a fanatic like some people, but I thoroughly enjoyed seeing the delight on my girls' faces. Halle was tall enough to ride the rides- so we made her. Brad and I tricked her onto a couple rides, but now she says SPLASH MOUNTAIN was her favorite part of Disneyland. See it worked:) Hopefully next time we go Haisley will be able to ride some, but who knows with how small she is.

San Diego Zoo

We went on a bus ride around the zoo. It is such a big zoo that this was one way to see all the animals:)

Love this pic taken by Halle, the photographer. Look at the little stranger wanting to get in on the action.

Cute girlies!!

They were so excited to see the animals.

This was the cutest panda bear. The girls loved all the animals, but they still talk about the cute panda family.

Anytime there was a statue of an animal the girlies wanted a picture with it. Here they are next to a baby polar bear.

Cute Haisy

My Halle-girl and my man!!

See- here's another one:)

Sea World

We got to go to SEA WORLD too on our Southern California vacation!! The girls wanted to have a picture with the giant octopus:)

Brad was brave enough to pick up the star fish. Haisley was actually far more brave than her older sister was when it came to getting close to the animals.

Halle on the other hand was brave enough to ride this roller coaster. Actually I don't think she had clue how scary that drop was going to be. She was pretty much terrified to ride any other ride that trip.

SHAMU!!
