President's Day!!

We had a fun President's Day- we went to lunch with Brad's brothers (Kirk and Craig) and then went bowling.  I do have to mention that I killed all of the guys on the first game!!  Haha you guys lost to a pregnant woman who let her little 1 year old play a couple of frames!!  By the middle of the second game my arm was tired and I was ready to be done- so I lost.  It was a lot of fun.  Thanks guys for inviting us!!

Valentine's Day!!

For Valentine's Day we invited Will and Tate to come over and make sugar cookies (what an adventure that was with a 2 and 1 year old).  We had a lot of fun though!!  Will only wanted white frosting- since pink is a girl's color.  So we made Halle have the pink and she loved every bit of her frosting!!  She licked off all the sprinkles and frosting and left the cookie on the plate.  That night we went to Tepanyaki's for dinner.  We invited Brad's mom and brothers to join us- since it is more fun to go with a big group.  I LOVE that place!!  Halle was scared of the fire, but she loved the food!!  Thanks for a great Valentine's Day, honey!!

Spring?

Since it was such a nice day yesterday, Halle and I decided to wait outside for Brad to come home from school.  I told Halle that I needed my sunglasses on because it was so bright.  The next thing I know- she comes running to me with her sunglasses.  She wanted help since these sunglasses are for babies and have velcro on the back.  We have misplaced her big girl glasses so these had to work for the time being.  We can't wait for the nice spring weather!!  Halle wanted to be outside all day.

Is it Bad?

Since I have been pregnant, my eating habits have gone by the way side!!  I want ice cream, cake, candy and anything else sweet.  Today for lunch I had a couple veggies and they weren't satisfying my needs, so I turned to the freezer and got out the carton of ICE CREAM.  No I did not eat it all, but that doesn't mean I couldn't.  How am I supposed to keep my weight in-check when I do things like this?  Help!!  I need to find some more hobbies so I don't think about food 24-7, it is not a good thing!!

Halle and Lexi

I just wanted to tell Lexi THANKS for watching Halle on Friday when we went to the luncheon.  Sorry Halle cried- I don't know what we are going to do with her- I guess you will have to come over and watch her more!!  THANKS AGAIN!!

Congrats!! Mr. and Mrs. Chris Helmantoler

My cute cousin, Courtney, got married on Friday.  It was an awesome reception and luncheon- Thanks guys for inviting us.  We had a BLAST.  I kept on telling Halle that we were going to see  a "Princess" and that we did- Courtney looked so beautiful!!  This couple deserves all the best of what is to come.  Married life is the GREATEST especially when you marry your best friend.

PINK EYE Anyone?

This week Halle had an experience with PINK EYE.  Needless to say it was a pain for me.  She was really good, but I had to keep her inside all week and I had to do tons of laundry to try and disinfect everything she touched.  I hope no one that we know gets it.  It was NO fun!!

Friday at the Bean Museum

It seems like Emilee and I take the kids on a field trip every Friday (except this week since they are moving into their new home).  We need to get out of the house just as much as the kids do.  Spring is not coming soon enough for us.  We are cheap so we are trying to find things to do that don't cost very much money.  The Bean Museum was a great idea, but failed miserably.  The kids were scared to even stand by the animals to take pictures.  If you notice on the slide show, Emilee or I had to stand with the kids to get a picture of the animals- it was hilarious!!  Halle was even scared of the elevator.  After the museum we went and saw Uncle Sean at work.  He is a traffic officer at BYU.  He wrote a ticket right before we took this photo.  After standing in the cold we took the kids to Grandpa's work.  He teaches microbiology at BYU- he is really smart.  After the kids ate his lunch and made a mess in his office he took them to see some fish in his building.  They loved it!!  We then concluded the field trip with a good old ice cream from the Creamery!!
