Grandma Thomas' Funeral :(

My Great Grandma Thomas passed away on July 7. She was almost 91 years old. It makes me sad to think that my children will never really know any of their great, great grandparents. She was the last of my living great grandparents. I am so grateful for the memories I have of her. She will greatly missed!! I love my Grandma Thomas!!
Here are my brothers and cousins being the pallbearers.
There were so many beautiful flowers that people gave to our family. Thank You!!
Me and my cute little family:)
This is my mom and her family: Pam, my mom, Grandpa Carter, Grandma Judy, Leslee, Stacey
This is (part of) my family at the graveside: Haisley, Brad, me, Clayt, Dad, Mom, Lexi, Halle, Danielle, and Sean.

I hate viewings, but I enjoy going to funerals because I get to learn a lot more about the person who has passed. It also makes me think about how short life really is and how we need to be the best that we can be all the time!! Funerals make me realize how important the gospel plan really is. Without the knowledge I have, death would be a lot harder for me to deal with. I am so grateful for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints!! We never know when it will be our time to go so we had better live with no regrets. I hope that I can be a better person so that when I die, people will have a few nice things to say about me:)

Zoo...

We are on the ZOO TRAIN!! Halle loves being BIG enough to hold her baby sister. They are so cute together:)
Hais wasn't too sure about being this close to the fence where the animals were. HELP MOM!!
These are our cute friends that agreed to go with us- Thanks for having patience with me and my girlies:)
We love going to the ZOO and see all the aminals.
Going on the MERRY-GO-ROUND was an experience... Halle WOULD NOT get on. I didn't want Hasiley to miss out just because her sister was in one of her moods, so I put Halle in the stroller and left her by the fence. She sat and watched us have fun going round and round. Maybe next time she will realize MERRY-GO-ROUNDS are REALLY FUN!!

Sidewalk Chalk...

A couple of weeks ago, before our good friends and neighbors moved, we let the kids play a little "unsupervised" with sidewalk chalk.
They had chalk everywhere!! I am glad Halle didn't follow everything Annabelle did, like putting chalk all over her face.
The kids had so much fun- I guess that's what counts!! We really miss the Poulsons:(
