Trip To Cali Part III

Cute little Haisy- BEFORE
And AFTER (can you tell a difference?)
One night my parents took us to the beach. It was freezing, but we still had a BLAST!!
I love this picture- my Dad always loves to be in all the action. He is such an AWESOME Dad and Grandfather!!
We were getting ready to pose for a picture, but the photographers weren't fast enough. We all got soaked, but were loving every minute of it!!
Hal was freezing so we wrapped her up in a towel since the blankets were all in the car. She didn't want to leave the beach even though she spent most of the time in her towel.
Haisley was having a bit of a hard time, the wind kept taking her breath away so my Dad was trying to block the wind. He finally just took her to the car to get her all warm and away from the wind. Thanks Dad for letting me enjoy some time at the beach.
Here is my awesome husband enjoying his dinner.
Even though he's a goof most of the time- I still LOVE him!!

Trip to Cali Part II

Brad and Halle had a blast watching the sea lions. It is crazy to watch animals fight. There were two sea lions that were fighting each other for one of the spots.
Halle on the merry-go-round in San Fran.
Oh, here's another one of the cute couple. It is fun to have a picture of just the two of us, we usually have atleast one kid with us when we are snapping pics.
Going down Lombard Street. This was so much fun!! Brad said that if he was in a clutch it would be suicide- we are grateful that the rental car was an automatic!!

Trip to Cali Part I

This past week we had the chance to go to Northern California to my little brother's wedding. Since we took so many pictures, I decided to post some every couple of days. Above is a picture of Halle waiting patiently (she was really so patient since our flight was delayed two hours) for our airplane!!
Here are the grandkids at their Great Grandfather's grave. He died when I was one year old so all I remember of him is going to his grave. Whenever we go back to California we make sure to stop here and clean things up a bit.
After visiting my family's old stopping grounds in Pleasanton, we went into San Fran for some sightseeing. All the in-laws except for my brother's new wife have never been to San Francisco so we decided to take them downtown for some fun!! It was so cold- we all had on hoodies.
What a cute couple with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background (hard to see cuz of the fog).
We saw this statue in Ghirardelli Square of a mermaid nursing her baby, so here I am with my girls!!
The Girls: Danielle (bride-to-be), Emilee, Lexi, Me, and Halle We just finished a hot fudge brownie Sunday- it was to die for!!
Wanna Ship Tour?!!
Our cute family with San Fran in the background. This was taken on one of the Piers in Fisherman's Warf. We had some awesome sourdough bread while walking the streets.
My family with San Francisco behind us.
Oh the things you think of, Brad!!
Another one of the girls with our Pirates. I love the pose, Em!! We had so much fun. Thanks Mom and Dad for a great day!!

You Know Your Child Is Tired When...

She positions her WHOLE body on the seat of a folding chair!!
These pictures were taken after church one Sunday. It is so hard to have church at 1:00 since that is right when Halle takes her nap. I was working on the computer and she was playing in the office, the next thing I heard was her breathing really hard. I couldn't believe that she had fallen asleep on the folding chair like that. I wonder how long she could have slept before she fell off.

We had an awesome 4th of July weekend!! It is always fun when Brad takes off work to hang with his girls. We spent the whole day doing fun things: morning was the parade down in Provo, then we went swimming at the Scera Pool, followed by "Kung Fu Panda" at the Scera movie theater, when the movie was over we had a BBQ at the Hoen's, and to finish off a wonderful day we watched fireworks!! I love the 4th of July!!

This picture was taken a few days earlier, but I thought it was so cute so I put it on. Haisley is getting so big. She is starting to smile all the time. It makes my day when she looks at me and smiles, it's like she really knows who I am. I love my family so much- they make life worth living!!

Haisley's Blessing

On Sunday, Brad blessed our darling little daughter. He did such a nice job. I am grateful for such an amazing husband. It was an awesome day and we really appreciate all the love and support our family and friends showed. THANK YOU!! We are again so grateful to have HAISLEY in our family. We have truly been blessed. There have been some devastating stories that we have heard lately that have made us stop and really ponder all of our many wonderful blessings. Life is too short to take blessings for granted- I am going to try harder to remember all of the many wonderful things my Heavenly Father has given me!!

Haisley at the Zoo

This is what Haisley looked like at the zoo. She was so good and slept most of the time except for when she wanted to eat. Isn't she the cutest?!!
